Bridged – Callahan & McLane #2 by Kendra Elliot

After the FBI are called in to investigate the murder of a congressman, Special Agent Ava McLane finds herself working alongside her new lover, OSP Detective Mason Callahan. The brutal murder and subsequent hanging of the politician sparks media interest and puts all departments under pressure to find the killer. When two more similar murders are discovered and it appears they are dealing with a serial killer the race is on to prevent any further deaths.

With Ava’s mentally unstable twin thrown into the mix the pressure starts to take its toll on the couple.

Can they locate a serial killer, stop Jayne from spinning out of control and keep their relationship on course?

REVIEW

An exciting and gripping second book to this series. Ava and Mason are in the begin of their new relationship and find themselves working together again in this fast paced serial killer action story. They have a few ups and downs along the way, mostly courtesy of Ava’s twin sister, Jayne, who has got herself mixed up with drugs and a not-so-nice man.

This is a well written story with great characters and enticing plotline. It is nice to see some of the characters from the first story reappear and all working together again and also getting a brief glimpse into their backgrounds, Zander Wells in particularly.

Hope to see more of all characters in the next book and the progression of Mason and Ava’s relationship.
