Lily Parkins finds out her husband is having an affair just weeks after her grandmother leaves her a B&B in her will. Packing up and leaving her miserable life behind her, Lily sets out to find herself and meets new friends along the way.
Ian McPherson is still recovering from the lose of his wife three years ago until a friendship develops with the new innkeeper next door.
Can Lily get over Brad’s betray and learn to trust again? Will Ian let love in and allow the past to final be put to rest?
This was an enjoyable story with some good characters. The friendships and romance embedded in the story is well written however I do feel that some parts let it down, primarily her father and the threat he portrayed, which could have been used to greater effect. The length of time it took for Lily to come to certain decisions seems unnecessary but overall a good read.
